Funnily enough, the tin in the cupboard that I thought was chick peas turned out to be kidney beans, this afternoon. So Bernard will have to meet hummus another day.
You do have interesting plates.
On a hot day, I once filled an empty can of coke with sea water and offered it to thirsty friends. Does serving a pasta bake in a dish that purported to enclose dessert, cereal or soup have the same comedy effect at the dinner table?
Do you know, I was sure that dish said dessert, cereal, soup, pasta. On closer inspection it seems you are correct: what a faux pas.
